reporting firm located in Hamilton, Alabama.

MCR is a proponent of continuing education and community service. As such, we are members of the National Court Reporters Association, the Alabama Court Reporters Association, the Northwest Alabama Arts Council, the Hamilton Area Chamber of Commerce, and Minter Court Reporting proudly supports the Marion County Humane Society.
Minter Court Reporting is owned
by Ed and Marla Avery Minter. Mrs. Minter is a 2001 graduate of Prince
Institute of Professional Studies in Montgomery, Alabama. A
merit graduate in court reporting and medical transcription, Marla
has over sixteen years' experience working for the State of Alabama
with the Department of Veteran Affairs and the Office of the Attorney
General in addition to her five years experience as a freelance court reporter and firm co-owner.
Additionally, Ed is a military retiree with over twenty years of federal active service with the United States Air Force. He is also a retiree of the Department of Veterans Affairs, State of Alabama, where he served as assistant state commissioner. In addition to his duties as co-owner and business manager of MCR, Ed is currently serving the local community as a member of the City of Hamilton Industrial Development Board, President of the Planning and Resource Consortium of Marion County, Adjutant of American Legion Post 91, and Vice-President of the Northwest Alabama Arts Council.
